YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE

CIS Bank Configurator

Configures the main CIS module requirements for banking systems such as ATMs, sorters, check scanners, counters, and banknote validators. The course guides you through the collection of technical data needed to evaluate scan width, resolution, light source, interface, and mechanical constraints.

    Application field

Select the main application and specify the type of machine or system where the CIS module will be integrated. This choice helps us define the most suitable requirements for scan width, resolution, light source, interface, and mechanical constraints.

    CIS Effective Scanning Length

The effective scanning length indicates the area actually captured by the CIS.
Select a standard size or enter a custom value in mm. Non-standard requests will be technically evaluated based on the project.

    OR

    DPI (Dots Per Inch) Resolution

Resolution indicates the number of dots captured by the CIS per inch (25.4 mm).

A higher resolution increases image detail but may require technical verification based on transport speed, light source, number of channels, and interface.

    Reflection light source

Select the light bands required for reflection acquisition.

Reflection mode illuminates the surface of the banknote or document. Multiple sources can be selected from RGB, IR (850/880/940 nm), and UV (260–370 nm); combinations of up to 6 colors/bands will be technically verified based on the application.

    Transmission light source

Select the light bands required for transmission acquisition.

Transmission mode uses light passed through the banknote or document, which is ideal for transparency inspections. Multiple sources can be selected from RGB, IR (850/880/940 nm), and UV (260–370 nm); combinations of up to 6 colors/bands will be technically verified based on the application.

    Clock Frequency

The clock frequency affects the CIS acquisition speed.

The final selection will be verified based on resolution, scanning width, light sources, channels, and transport speed.

    • 8 MHz — Basic configuration / Limited speed / Very high DPI

    • 16 MHz — Standard configuration for most applications / Very high DPI

    • 24 MHz — High speed

    • 32 MHz — Advanced configuration

    Output Interface

Select the output type required to connect the CIS to the machine's electronics.
This choice affects data acquisition, the control board/FPGA, cabling, and compatibility with the customer's system."

    Analog

    Digital (LVDS)

    Focus and glass thickness

Glass thickness affects the focus position relative to the CIS surface and the document acquisition plane.

Generally, a thinner glass moves the focal point further from the glass surface, while a thicker glass brings it closer.

If this specification is not yet defined, it can be technically evaluated based on the application and the module structure.
